Purpose of Program:

To offer $2500 in down payment assistance to aid Minnesotans in the following counties to secure a more fuel-efficient vehicle for employment purposes:

     Grant, Douglas, Pope, Stevens, Traverse

To be considered for eligibility:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have earned income (last three months pay stubs)
• Be a resident in the 5 county service area listed above
• Household income must be at or below 200% of poverty
• Have a valid MN Drivers License
• Proof of vehicle insurance or insurability
• Ability to pay cash or qualify for a conventional loan through any lender for the difference.
