POSITION: Teacher’s Aide for Head Start classroom in Wheaton.  This position will be 14 hours per week.

Qualifications: Interest and experience in working with young children.  Ability to exercise patience and understanding when working with children.  Ability to follow oral instructions and good communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 30-50 lbs.

Starting Salary:  $8.44/hour with high school diploma; $11.25/hour with minimum of Child Development Associate

POSITION: Energy Assistance Program Services Specialist Position – we have two position open and will work out of the Clay County Family Services Center.

Qualifications:  Over one year and up to three years experience working with people.  Education equal to high school diploma or GED.  Basic math skills, good oral and written communication skills.  Data entry experience.  Knowledge of community resources.  Ability to travel on a day-to-day basis.  Accuracy and attention to detail is a requirement.  Preferred applicant will be bilingual in Spanish.                                                   

Primary Objective of the Position: Conduct intake for the Energy Assistance Program.   Proficiency and accuracy in entering data into statewide eheat computer program.  Provide information, referral and advocacy services for clients. Advise vendor’s eligibility of client households.                                                        

Starting Salary:  $13.52 per hour
